Band Members: RIGAROUS a.k.a RIGA was born in St. Anns, Jamaica W.I. and moved to Queens New York at the age of three. At the age of eight, RIGA battled her obstacles by writing her own songs and poetry. RIGA started taking rapping seriously, in her freshman year of high school. RIGA was inspired by some of the best lyricists in the game such as: Nas, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Busta Rhymes, Cannibus, Eminem, and others. Some of RIGA’s female influences were Rage, MC Lyte and Missy Elliott because they didn't depend on men to write their material. Riga was part of a female group called “DNP†in her freshmen year of high school. Due to some differences RIGA split from the group and joined her friend as the first female in his group “REPRISALâ€. RIGA decided to explore being a solo artist when she attended Hampton University in Virginia where she became a part of Virginia's Hip Hop scene. RIGA has done a number of showcases and performances in New York and Virginia. RIGA has a versatile flow and takes pride in writing her own lyrics.
