About Me

My less than humble upbringing taught me a great deal about reality. Life ain't easy; especially when you are poor white trash. I am the middle child of 5. My mother smoked the whole time she was pregnant with me. Though I couldn't tie my shoes until I was 6, I could read and speak in complete sentences before age 4. I had to be very independent since my parents sucked at planning...and using condoms. People have always told me I was "mature for my age". Today, I am still mature and happy with an overall positive outlook on life.I am happily divorced and in an effortless, committed relationship (+years). What can I say, I'm quite a catch. Guys have a tendency to fall in love with me or at least the idea of me. I am not your typical girl. I drink beer and Captain and Cokes. I laugh at dead baby jokes and I have excellent taste in music. By day, I work for Comcast Cable which affords me the finer things in life like a car, food and photography paraphernalia. My goal is to get paid enough to live off of my photography. Right now, I do what I can to get exposure, but so far it is not steady enough to leave the glitz and glamour of responding to emails from douche bags complaining about their cable service. To sum me up is hard but I will try. On the outside, I am tough. I am relentlessly sarcastic. I am brutally honest and have a tendency to point out what everyone else is thinking but afraid to say. I have put my foot in my mouth on many occasions without remorse. All of this is just a defense system for a sensitive, caring, nurturer. I love people that get me and that can handle some of the stupid shit that comes out of my mouth. I live life week by week and waste my time killing time until I finally die. embed enableJavascript="false" allowscriptaccess="never" allownetworking="internal" allowScriptAccess="never" style='display:none' src=''

My Interests

My number one interest is Photography. I have been a freelance photographer for about 5 years. It's a lot of hard work, but it's so worth it. My style is more photojournalistic, but I can do just about anything...fashion, commercial, artistic, glamour, still life and so on. I can take on just about any project. I use an 11.1 megapixel Canon EOS 1Ds DSLR. You can see some of my work at www.pbase.com/michelle_smith. My other interests include the usual: music, movies and cartoons. I love going to live shows. Nothing beats road trippin to see a show. I love to laugh so I am into comedians like Jim Norton, Doug Stanhope, Joe Rogan, Dave Attell, Mitch Hedberg and the likes. my boyfriend is a passionate Flyers hockey fan so I am now converted. I am currently addicted to Opie and Anthony on XM satellite radio. I love these guys. They make me laugh and laugh and laugh with their witty banter.

I'd like to meet:

I joined myspace to keep in contact with friends I started growing apart from. I'd like to meet new people as well: must be funny. If you are looking to get laid please move on and visit craigslist.org. I am also looking to meet people that will model for me in exchange for copies of the images. I am a freelance photographer (no porn), but I don't have any money. However, I can provide models with excellent pro images in excahnge for time and talent. I am also interseted in meeting other photographers.

Music:

TOOL, A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Team Sleep, Chevelle, Radiohead, Sunny Day Real Estate, Far, The Roots, Mos Def, Nirvana, Dilliger Escape Plan, Rollins Band, Between The Buried and Me, Chillie Peppers, Try, Kanye West, Fiona Apple, Minor Threat, The Misfits (Glen D.), Beck, Imprint, Beastie Boys, Failure, Refused and more...

Movies:

I like movies, but I am not the type to watch the same movies over and over and quote every fucking line. Movies I have watched over and over include: South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut, Super Troopers, Pulp Fiction, Gladiator, Fight Club, Kill Bill Vol 1&2, Four Rooms, Half Baked, Natural Born Killers, Die Hard. I like comedies, action/suspense flicks and some dramas. I can't stand touching movies about people with real problems like cancer and shit. Who wants to sit for two hours and be depressed? I also love movies that are so bad they are good. Shitty B flicks like The Tongue and any Jean Claude Van Damn "film".

Television:

South Park, Family Guy, Simpsons, Wildboyz, MXC, JackAss, Viva La Bam, American Dad, Arrested Development, Beavis and Butthead, Aqauteen Hunger Force, Drawn Together, Sea Lab, Mr.Show, America's Funniest Home Videos, America's Next Top Model (photo shoots), Wonder Showzen....

Books:

"Everyone Poops" - Gomi, Taro

Heroes:

My parents: it's gay and cliche, but I have to give it to them for raising 5 kids on minimum wage and not killing us. And Henry Rollins - he lives his life the way I wish I could...if I had the balls
