Hello my name is Leslie Belteton. I am a 27 year old “Beauty Artist†and I LOVE WHAT I DO!!As a little girl, I always made it a point to watch every single name in the ending credits of a movie because I just knew my name would be there one day. And between me and you….I still do that from time to time! I began my career by attending Elegance International Professional Make-up Academy, where I received a Certificate of Completion in Theatrical, Photography and Professional Make-up. I am a licensed cosmetologist (Redken Premiere) and licensed esthetician (Dermalogica partnership). While attending beauty school, I participated in the BEST program. This program showed me that there was more to this craft than the basic “working behind the chair†aspect. It opened my eyes and imagination to different things that were available in the beauty industry and definitely gave me the confidence to push the limits and as far as hair and make-up go. I can confidently say that I do not limit myself to the “basicsâ€. I challenge myself everyday to think outside of the box in order to explore and enhance everyone of my client’s individual needs and features.My dreams are growing everyday, however my goal remains the same. To be the best Hair and Make-up professional in Los Angeles. I am always looking for new ideas and techniques that will set me aside from the rest.As far a working with celebrities right now I have a few clients that are well known “local†celebrities. They include - Raq-C “The Night Chick†from Latino 96.3 FM and JoJo on the Radio from 102.7 KIIS FM both on air radio personalities. I have also worked with various VJ’s on MTV Tres.I plan on being around for a long, long time. This is not the last you’ll hear of Leslie Belteton.
