I love writing songs - for me they're the diary of my
life; hauntingly beautiful melodies... lyrics that really mean something
to me; full of passion and soul...having total control over my music... to be answerable
to no one; a free spirit - that's my music; and I'm fiercely proud of it!!
I don't try to be
commercial and I don't know how to compromise -lol!! I
just make the music that I always wanted to hear... It means the world to me

The Members of Brett Huckfield's Band & Promo Team;
Marie, Sam and Mike are the core of my promo team; and
also the members of my band... I formed the band in order to perform my 'City
Blue' tracks live ('City Blue' -is my forthcoming album). Not wanting to be too
conventional; I opted for a mixture of acoustic and electric percussion instead
of drums, which works really well for my songs... (though we may gig with a
guest drummer too on occasion too!!).
