About Me

I live in Cardiff. I got my PMA back.
Most of the time I buy too many records, go to gigs in Cardiff and Newport, ride my bike, read books, hang out with my girlfriend and generally do things I like doing. I also write a fanzine called Black Lesbian President, which has been running for almost a year. I want to make new friends, so say hello.

My Interests

Ending apartheid for one. Also slowing down the nuclear arms race, stopping terrorism and world hunger. Providing food and shelter for the homeless, opposing racial discrimination and promoting civil rights, while also promoting equal rights for women. Encouraging a return to traditional moral values, but most importantly, promoting general social concern and less materialism in young people.

I'd like to meet:

Left-wing, communist, Jewish, homosexual pornographers.

Music:

My all-time top five record labels are SST, Plan-It-X, Dischord, No Idea and Newest Industry.. if that tells you anything.

Movies:

Anything that wasn't an over-hyped super-budgeted five-sequel re-make Hollywood piece of shit.

Television:

Arrested Development, Seinfeld, Who's Line Is It Anyway?, Spaced, Frasier, Curb Your Enthusiasm, King Of The Hill, Kath and Kim, Due South, The Adam and Joe Show, Peep Show, Monk, Nighty-Night and Deadwood. I dont watch actual television.

Books:

"It was true that i didn't have much ambition, but there ought to be a place for people without ambition. I mean a better place that the one usually reserved. How in the hell could a man enjoy being awakened at 6:30am by an alarm clock, leap out of bed, dress, force-feed, shit, piss, brush teeth and hair, and fight traffic to get to a place where essentially you made lots of money for somebody else and were asked to be grateful for the opportunity to do so?"
"The song was called 'Los Angeles' and the words and images were so harsh that the song would reverberate in my mind for days. The images, I later found out, were personal and no-one I knew shared them. The images I had were of people being driven mad by living in the city. Images of parents who were so hungry and unfullfilled that they ate their own children. Images of people, teenagers my own age, looking up from the asphalt and being blinded by the sun."
Currently reading: 'The Great War for Civilisation', 'Memoirs Of An Anti-Semite' and re-reading 'The God Of Small Things'.
