They say that all good things come to an end and this is certainly true when it comes to rock bands. However, when several bands simultaneously switch off their amplifiers for the last time, a unique alignment occurs which can sometimes result in the creation of a group better than the sum of its parts. Such is the case with Roundhouse. Born out of the ashes of local groups Diezel, Ether, Ordinary Average Psycho, Thumpin Betty and Stonehenge, Roundhouse routinely takes Chicagoland on a wild ride! With dual guitarists, Roundhouse packs a punch. Diezel's and Ether's, Tim and Mark have complimentary styles and fill the room with a wall of sound and in-your-face riffs. Those of you who live closer to Chicago are sure to remember metal mayhem favorite, Stonehenge. John brings up the bottom with some thumping bass delivered with a very chill vibe. Former Psycho, Cole leads the group as vocalist. "One of the best things about Roundhouse is that we have all brought in favorite songs from our other bands. The result is a great mix of music." Dave joined the band after watching the group at a local benefit concert and the result is a hell of a lot of fun. The complete show is made up of favorites from bands like Nickelback, Fuel, Buckcherry, Poison, Theory of a Dead Man, Crossfade, Metallica, Creed and even some bands you wouldn’t expect to hear a bar band cover.
