Robert the Bob

About Me

Little by little it will come to be known that Robert is a Bob and that he was a very nice guy. But as the world got a hold of him, a tribe of Robatos took him and molded his friendly attributes into a cold detached humanoid living somewhere in the cement jungles of Japan. Now, he just sits at his computer and uses myspace as a temple of respect and gratitude to the influences in his life, music, philosophy, and other Fine Arts of Friendship.

The only thing that I can do to contribute positively to life on this earth is to do my best not burden it with my presence any more than I have to. I'm proud that I've tried to live my life that way....

Music over my head

Music is the greatest source of joy and the greatest source of depression in my life. It numbs, distracts, blots, erases, mesmerizes, and hollows out my mind. I'm kicking the habit as we speak. For ma...

A metallic funking good time

I've been myspace-d for a while, but I didn't really start to "utilize" it until I met a couple of myspacers over the summer. Those guys are pillow and Erwin and they were hanging at one amazing pair ...

Sporting my mind

I watch certain sports and I play certain sports. I often find myself asking myself why I and other grown adults (including some professionally) chase an object around a contained area like instict-dr...

Carl Nielsen

Carl Nielsen's first four symphonies (and a lot of his incidental music) are extraordinary... They feel personal, yet aren't "over-the-top" as some would say about Mahler. This morning I was moved aga...

Long live Ralph Nader!

A man who speaks truth and tried his best to run with it and do something about the sad state of our beautiful, yet quickly tattering country.
