How To Prepare a Session To Be Mixed
1. Organize and label your file names.
2. Protools session files are preferable. HOWEVER, if you do not have protools please solo and export (bounce down) each track individually from bar 1 so that all of the files will line up correctly. Please make sure to leave you tracks at the bit rate they were recorded at.
3. Remove all effects and plug-ins from the mix. Please send your mix in dry.
4. Rough 2-track mix is helpful to hear the overall concept of the song.
