His Genesis
Elder L. A. Hudnell was born in the town of Springfield, Massachusetts and lived there briefly as a young child while his father served in the United States Air Force. His family soon moved to Limestone, Maine and from there ended up back in the Washington D. C. area where he was raised in Prince George's County, Maryland.
His Grounding
Elder L. A. Hudnell now lives in Clinton, Maryland with his wife Lisa and three children, Bryton, Donovan and Jocelyn. It is his family that gives him a foundation of stability from which to do the work of the ministry.
His Growth
Elder L. A. Hudnell received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1990. He has taken various bible courses in bible institutes and conferences and is now preparing to enter a bible college in the Washington D. C. area.
His Gifting
Since becoming saved in 1990 Elder L. A. Hudnell has served in several different capacities in ministry. He served on the Usher Board, Board of Trustees, and was ordained to the office of Deacon before accepting his calling to pulpit ministry all in the same church.
Under the pastoral leadership of the late Bishop D. Lee Owens he was licensed as a Minister and ordained to Eldership. Elder L. A. Hudnell went on to serve as Assistant to the Pastor and eventually to Executive Pastor of the Temple of Praise Church in 2000. He pastored there for about one year before leaving to begin another church, Abounding Grace Church, where he currently shepherds God's people.
Elder L. A. Hudnell is known for his powerful and dynamic preaching of the Word of God and his ability to give insight into living in obedience and grace. His ministry is rooted in a strong belief of fasting, praying and studying the scriptures verse by verse. Elder L. A.
