Aura

Risen from the ashes of Parathion, which was the successor of the legendary Baardschurft-project back in the early nineties, Aura's first sign of musical mayhem was displayed in the old Dynamo-club in their native town of Eindhoven, maturing ever since.
Their first release was the now sought-after "Shattered Dawnbreak"-cd in 1996, released through Hammerheart records. Extensive gigging followed, opening for such acts as Anathema, Katatonia, In the Woods etc.
After a few personnel changes, core members Peter Brinkman and Martyn Luppens along with new bandmembers, recorded the "Sect" promo in 2000, of which two songs are included in this site's mediaplayer. After this, gigging continued, opening up for such acts as Testament in 2003.
After this, the band's last effort proved to be their 2004 full-length cd entitled "Hidden". As from then on, the band decided to change their name to ScenarioII. For further information about Aura's successor , i would like to redirect you to ScenarioII myspace page
