Antonio Ceci was born at Modugno(BA) on 04-03-1982.
He has getted confident with music early since he was six years old, playing instruments such as trump, violin, piano. Althought these weren't deep studies, they were very useful because of the theoretical knowledge transmitted by the classic music study itself (armony and practice solfeggio), and because of the acquisition of a studying method otherwise hardly meetable in a modern context.
When he was about 18 years old he increasingly interested in rock music and in playing guitar, that is an instrument from which he've never separated himself. In fact from that moment his lyfestyle getted completely changed, aiming at realizing his high music aspirations with a tenacious and deep commitment without compromises (an average of about 8 hours of guitar studies a day) trying to filled the technique gap that there was between him and his coetaneous.
In the 2004 he getted a first and second level degree at the highly influential Lizard school in Fiesole, obtaining maximum marks. He studied for this exam completely autonomously, without attending at any lesson. Afterwards geographical problems (Antonio lived in Bari which is very far from Firenze where the Lizard school is located) and the school request for attending lessons at least sometimes, caused him to abandon the task of getting a complete degreee there.
Between 2004 and 2005 the intense study related to the guitar playing caused him tendinitis, compelling him not to play guitar for a long time, until a prestigious orthopedic in Bari (Dott.Musajo Somma) succeded in helping him to solve his problem. So in the second half of 2005 he healed completely and he could restart his deep study.
This period of time overlaps with the creation of his principal band, the "EVOLUTION" , with which he continued his commmitment in composition and concerts.
In 2006 Antonio began to upload on the Web, a set of virtuosistical videos, in which he plays some of the most famous pieces of the rock-metal guitar player archive, spread during the last few decades, and he has obtained lots of success from public and criticizers ( "Under a glass moon" - Dream Theater , "In the dragon's den" - Symphony X , "Sea of lies" - Symphony X , "Daddy, Brother, Lover, little boy" - Mr.Big , "The Ytse Jam" - Dream Theater ).
At the moment Antonio focuses his professional commitment in developing a soloist project parallel to his band, and in teaching rock-metal guitar playing either at the private school il Coretto in Bari, or at his own home privately.

Antonio Ceci nasce a Modugno(BA) il 03-04-1982.
I suoi contatti con la musica cominciano già in tenerissima età (6 anni) con lo studio saltuario di strumenti quali tromba, violino e pianoforte con i quali però non raggiunge risultati degni di nota. Tuttavia questa fase si rivelerà in seguito molto utile per le conoscenze teoriche che uno studio di tipo classico trasmette (armonia e solfeggio), e per l'acquisizione di un metodo di studio difficilmente riscontrabile in ambito moderno.
Verso i 18 anni cresce l'interesse invece, per la musica rock in genere e per la chitarra, strumento da cui non si separerà mai, approfondendone gli studi fino ad oggi. Da questo momento infatti, la sua vita cambia e verte esclusivamente alla realizzazione delle sue aspirazioni musicali, con un impegno tenace e approfondito senza compromessi (8h al giorno di media) per cercare di colmare in breve tempo, quel gap tecnico che lo separa dai suoi coetanei.
Nel 2004 sostiene l'esame per il diploma di 1° e 2° livello presso la prestigiosa scuola Lizard di Fiesole, superandolo col massimo dei voti. L'esame viene preparato in modo completamente autonomo e senza nessun tipo di frequenza o lezione. In seguito i problemi di natura geografica (Antonio abita a Bari e la scuola è a Firenze!) e la necessità di una frequenza almeno saltuaria delle lezioni, lo persuadono dall'idea di un eventuale diploma.
Tra il 2004 e il 2005 il forte studio non manca di essere causa di tendiniti che lo costringono all'inattività per un lungo periodo di tempo, finchè grazie all'aiuto di un noto ortopedico barese (Dott.Musajo Somma), alla metà del 2005 si riprende completamente e può riprendere lo studio intenso. Questo periodo coincide con la formazione della sua band principale, gli EVOLUTION, con i quali prosegue tuttora la sua attività compositiva e concertistica.
Nel 2006 comincia la pubblicazione in rete di una serie di video virtuosistici, in cui esegue alcuni tra i più noti brani del repertorio chitarristico rock-metal degli ultimi anni, riscuotendo un successo unanime di pubblico e critica ( "Under a glass moon" - Dream Theater , "In the dragon's den" - Symphony X , "Sea of lies" - Symphony X , "Daddy, Brother, Lover, little boy" - Mr.Big , "The Ytse Jam" - Dream Theater ). .
Attualmente Antonio concentra la sua attività professionale nell'insegnamento della chitarra rock-metal sia presso la scuola il Coretto a Bari, sia privatamente presso la propria abitazione.

I teach online electric guitar lessons via "Skype" or "MSN Messenger" using a webcam (in order to follow this kind of lessons is required a webcam and a fast Internet connection), during which I can speak in English (or in Italian, of course).
Each lesson ends after 1hour and costs 15euro.
