Hi guys I started the guitar when I was 16 then at 21, went to Los Angeles to study for a year at the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) to “tune up” to different guitar styles: jazz, blues, rock, country – my teachers were Scott Henderson, Norman Brown, Dan Gilbert, among others. Back in France, I was able to devote myself professionally to the music (concerts, recordings, teaching guitar ...). In ’02, I started a guitar duo with my friend François Hubrecht, and then a jazz trio with Fran..ois and a singer named Marlène Continente. I’m also a member of a blues band named “Dirty Monster Blues” and of a duo with the DMB’ singer. In ’06, I decided to create my own trio (guitar, bass, drums) and we have just finished recording our first instrumental album, made of original work and standards, my ultimate goal being, hopefully, to be “signed” by a label and record an album of my own instrumental work. I’m currently working with my friend Fran..ois on a recording of our original work as an acoustic duo. Since March ’06, I also contribute (along with my usual accomplice François) to “Guitarist” and “Guitarist Acoustic” magazines.-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------- Salut à tous. Je commence la guitare à 16 ans, puis à 21 ans, je pars à Los Angeles pour suivre une année de cours au Guitar Institute Of Technology (GIT) pour me perfectionner dans différents styles (jazz, blues, rock, country) en suivant des cours avec Scott Henderson, Norman Brown, Dan Gilbert, etc... . De retour de L.A., je commence à vivre pleinement de la musique (concerts, studio, cours...). En 2002, je monte un duo de guitares acoustiques (J.A.G) avec mon ami François Hubrecht, puis un trio jazz (JUST FRIENDS), toujours avec François Hubrecht, et incorporant une chanteuse du nom de Marlène Continente. Parallèlement, je joue dans un groupe de blues du nom de Dirty Monster Blues et aussi en duo avec le chanteur de ce même groupe. En 2006, je décide de monter mon propre trio (guitare, basse, batterie), nous venons de finir l'enregistrement d'un premier CD (composé de quelques compos et de standards). L'objectif final est d'être signé par un label et d'enregistrer un CD de mes compos instrumentales. En ce moment, je joue beaucoup avec mon ami François Hubrecht, nous préparons un enregistrement de compos en duo guitares acoustiques. Depuis Mars 2006, je suis aussi intervenant (toujours avec mon complice François) pour les magazines de guitare "Guitarist Magazine" et "Acoustic Guitarist"
