My name is Alyssa. I've loved sewing since childhood. My first sewing machine was the size of a toaster and had My Little Pony painted on it. Oh, and my mom has the first clutch I ever made, from grade school. It's crafted of glue and felt.
Save the few store-bought items left in my hoards of fabric, buttons, etc., all my materials are used. I limit waste as much as possible and believe there is little point to buying new materials. It's so much fun going to garage sales, estate sales and thrift stores anyway!
