Onstage, SoulSwitch displays a riveting, thunderous performance of their crowd pleasing original material. In a recent show review Connections Magazine wrote, “They’ve grown from a good local band to a band ready for national exposure.†That fact hasn’t been lost on their steadily growing fan base. Recently SoulSwitch attracted 1,200 fans as they headlined Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida. Not bad for a bunch of guys doing what comes naturally—making great music.
The current and final lineup of SoulSwitch has been in place since late 2006. Writing and performing incomparable songs is a team effort, with each member contributing through their strengths. Tom Huestis supplies captivating vocals with versatile styles ranging from hardcore to Broadway. The rhythm guitar work of Jimmy Kwong generates sonic landscapes filled with emotion, while lead guitarist Nic Allen attacks songwriting by creating riffs filled with both speed and precision. The rhythm section is handled by Matt Larson who crafts infectious grooves on the bass guitar, and drummer Michael Mouris who produces a solid backbone of percussive beats and syncopation. Together they form a sound uniquely their own, yet filled with mainstream hooks ready for active rock radio.
SoulSwitch has just released a NEW EP. This CD will showcase the bands original songwriting ability and mainstream marketability. SoulSwitch has performed throughout the State of Florida and are planning an East Coast Tour in the near future.
