Julian Awari was born in Virginia Beach, VA on December 23, 1984 (currently 24 years old). He began singing at the age of 5 and writing since 11. Unlike many gospel singers, Julian did not grow up going to church but had a grandmother who read the Children’s Bible to him before she died. It seemed to be just enough for Julian to know that there was a God. However, Julian wasn’t satisfied with just knowing about God but wanted to know God. In his childhood years, he found himself occasionally asking neighbors if he could attend church services with them. Unfortunately, no one seemed willing to be a role model or to encourage him to continue going to church. This caused Julian to get weary in his search to find God. He became distant from the church but felt out of place in the world. After many years of pursuit, Julian had an encounter with God that would change his life forever; he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. Currently working on his debut CD entitled “Identityâ€, Julian is a leading voice of his generation to help the lost souls find their identity in Christ Jesus and to encourage the kingdom in their walks with God!"Highly Exalted" live @ FCCIOC
