Band Members: I am the bass player for the Tommy Castro Band.I am a professional bassist with over 23 years of working experience. I pride myself on being versatile and open-minded to all genres of music.I was born in 1969 and I live in Des Moines, IA. I started playing bass at the age of 13. Although I claim to be a self-taught musician, I have had some incredible teachers and mentors to help me hone my craft.I have performed and recorded with a number of artists and groups ranging in musical styles such as blues, jazz, R&B, funk, latin, soul, and world music. I have toured extensively throughout North America and Europe and I also hold a busy local schedule performing and giving bass lessons.I have been married to my wife, Jenipher, since 1994. We have 4 sons, Ethan & Elijah (twins, 12), Emmett (11), and Escher (7).
