Seem to vary by the week, but among other things may include art, reading, board/card/rpg games, politics, entrepreneurialism (yeah, how many guys on MySpace know THAT word, I wonder), astronomy, pool, disc golf. Dipped my toes into trying to learn to dance at one time, would like to try again sometime, and I started biking again this year too.
I do like to catch a few games of football (DA Bearz / Raptors) and hockey (Icehogs!) now and then, but don't follow them religiously or anything. Ask me to name one or two players on a team... hell, in a LEAGUE, and I probably couldn't do it, but I still love watching.
I'd like to meet:
I'm back in the dating pool, but I've pretty much given up on the idea that the "perfect girl" for me is out there... Unfortunately most of my hobbies tend to be "guy things," and I'm attracted to "girlie girls," who are never into those "guy things."
Frankly just finding somebody with whom I can hold regular conversations without either of us being bored to tears would be absolutely splendid - however that still means that if you look over this whole page, and you're not interested in
any of the same stuff I am... please don't contact me just because you think I'm cute. Trust me, it will only lead to disaster. (Just to toss this in here... I also won't hook up with anybody who's BP, who has more than one child, is more than a year older than myself, or is more than a half hour drive from here).
But I'll tell you what... as unlikely as it is, if you looked at this page and went "Holy crap this guy is cool!" (and you're not one of those droves of girls who are stuck on guys with tattoos and motorcycles for some reason, as I have neither...) certainly feel free to say hi :P

You are attracted to obedience and warmth.
In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never
lets you feel bored.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless,
cold-blooded, and sarcastic.
Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks
to the future... one you can grow with.
Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You
would never break a commitment.
You think of marriage as something that will confine you. You are
afraid of marriage.
In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard
anytime. You're feeling self centered.

Music:
I listen to a variety. I have a "make your own" station over at Pandora that has a mix of heavy rock (or nu-metal), blues rock, jazz, country, and a dash of Sinatra. I also listen to Celtic Rock quite a bit. Rap does not qualify as "music."
Movies:
Again a variety - SciFi/Fantasy (Serenity, Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride)... Artsy (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Science of Sleep)... a few classics (Casblanca, Breakfast at Tiffany's)... along with of course the occasional action-based watch-stuff-blow-up movie.
Television:
Eh don't watch it too much. I follow Lost & Battlestar Galactica, and started watching October Road, though it's new and we'll have to see how long it holds my attention. I can dig Discovery channel sometimes too.
Books:
Favorite authors are Neil Gaiman & Douglas adams, however my collection covers scifi/fantasy, horror, non-fiction, reference, and self-help (I have a hell of a lot of books and seem to keep obtaining more - I'd love to have a library room someday).
