We roll both Gi and No Gi. Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling, Boxing, Kempo Karate. Mat Work and Stand Up. Gi and No GI Submissions.
Advanced classes are offered if you want to taste what it is like to be in the ring utilizing what you have learned in a near full contact(but controlled) situation.
Our techniques are designed to make you, the student, the best mixed martial artist you can be.
Heres the hook and this is where we can tap out the opposition everytime.
We dont charge you an extra hundred bucks a month so that the Sensei can "send it up the line" so we can claim "affiliation" with a certain well known MMA figure.
You really didnt think you can name your school "Gracie" or "Brazillian Top" without sending a franchise fee up the line did you?
By being an independant, non-profit. we can give you the best training available at a cost that wont make your training financially out of reach.
Also by being independant we are not obligated to teach "one size fits all" martial arts. All Skill levels and fitness levels are welcome.
Want more? OK. Some of the other schools offer private classes and little one on one time with the head instructor. You know, the last time you had a chance to speak with the head instructor was when you signed up? Or a quick nod and "hi" when you walk thru the door?
COMBAT ATHLETIX is different. Every class you will have an opportunity to roll with the head instructor and also work with other students. Rotating so that you can test your techniques against different age and skill levels. Students of different heights and weights. etc.
