In the Heart of "Hot Atlanta" is were the young songstress Lyric Wright started to notice and full-fill her passion for music. The Aspiring songwriter was raised by both her mother and father in East Atlanta. Lyric recognized her love for the performing arts at a very tender age of 5. She was always singing around the house and performing for anyone that would listen. Lyric Joined the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation for the arts (TASF) at the Age of 13 were she gained the bulk of her artist skills. Lyric also Joined the Freddie Hendricks youth ensemble of Atlanta at the age of 14 now known as Y.E.A were she got in-touch and gained a love for Acting. At the age of 14 Lyric auditioned and was excepted into Dekalb School of the performing and fine Arts high (DSA) with a concentration major in music and minor in drama. There she was exposed to the different mediums of the arts from its more classical styles to its street style. While atteneding DSA She was apart of the Def Poet society were she got the chance to "spit rhymes" for Russel Simmons and Rev Run, she had the opportunity to travel to Scotland to perform for the theater fringe festival were she won best female actor, she was a driving force in helping her school get the "Grammy in the School" grant and she taught a pro-tools /songwriting class her senior year. Lyric Wright has made a buzz for her self as a songwriter in atlanta and is humbly grinding to make sure she gets her first grammy by 23. she is being mentored by songwriter Cristyle. and managed by Ian Burke
