About Me

I'm generally interested in design and I like art nouveau, paintings of Tamara De Lempicka and drawings of many manga artists like Kaori Yuki (Angel Sanctuary), Kouyu Shurei (Alichino) and Masaki Segawa (Basilisk).
I like to draw many different styles, among others simple cartoon style and quite realistic manga style, sometimes something naturalistic as well.
Moreover I'm interested in asian culture, especially the japanese one.
And I love:
- to cuddle our cats
- to cuddle my sweetheart ;)
- to discover new kinds of music
- chocolate
Ich interessiere mich generell fÃ¼r Design und mir gefÃ¤llt der Jugendstil, Bilder von Tamara De Lempicka und die Zeichnungen vieler Manga-KÃ¼nstler wie z.B. Kaori Yuki (Angel Sanctuary), Kouyu Shurei (Alichino) und Masaki Segawa (Basilisk).
Ich zeichne sehr gerne verschiedene Stilrichtungen, u.a. einen simplen Cartoon-Stil und einen relativ realistischen Manga-Stil, manchmal auch etwas Naturalistisches.
AuÃŸerdem interessiere ich mich fÃ¼r asiatische Kultur, besonders die japanische.
Und ich liebe es:
- unsere Katzen zu knuddeln
- meinen SÃ¼ÃŸen zu knuddeln ;)
- neue Arten von Musik zu entdecken
- Schokolade

Music:

I listen to many different genres but mainly I like Rock-, Heavy Metal- & Industrial-Stuff, especially Nu Metal and J-Rock.
Some of my favorite bands: Celldweller, Circle Of Dust, Buck-Tick, Gackt, Tetsu69, Nine Inch Nails, Lacuna Coil, Korn, Hide, X-Japan, The Trax, Jeremias Meinhard, Apocalyptica, G.Gorilla, Marilyn Manson, Mucc, Seether, Depeche Mode, Placebo, Rammstein, Crematory, D'espairs Ray, Wolfsheim, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nothingface and Yoko Kanno.
If you've never listened to J-Rock (japanese Rock) before, you should give it a try and watch this video. This X-Japan song is one of my all time favorites!

Movies:

Favorite Movie: Pitch Black - no, not really ... It only inspired my name. ;)
My real favorites are: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Galaxy Quest, The Usual Suspects, Life of Brian, Hero, Matrix Trilogy, Firefly/Serenity, Ocean's Eleven & Twelve, Murder by Death, Rocky Horror Picture Show and many more which don't come to my mind at the moment.
I also like to watch animes very much, for example Death Note, Basilisk, Ergo Proxy, Trinity Blood, Blood+ and Mirage of Blaze.

Books:

Mainly I read fantasy novels, crime stories and mangas. I like novels of Terry Pratchett, Dorothy Sayers, Douglas Adams, Anne Rice, J.K. Rowling and Shadowrun novels.
My favorite mangas are Angel Sanctuary, Basilisk, Yami no Matsuei, Kenshin and Death Note.
