BLACK CANVAS

About Me

Black Canvas... an effort of three friends, with very different musical backgrounds, trying to make good music the best that we can. It is a love that we have shared for a long time now. Music should be straight from the heart and never compromised otherwise. Black Canvas has been together now for almost five years and we plan on being together for many more to come. All three of us have grown up with music as a huge part of our lives. Dan Wrench sang and played guitar and drums for his church band, switching to bass several years ago, around the time B.C. formed. Aaron Shaw played clarinet for the concert and symphonic band in high school, and started playing drums in the jazz band. George Moody has had guitar since he was too small to hold it right, and persued music theory at college and then began giving guitar lessons. Our music is based on our lives, experiences, victories, and defeats; things that all can relate to. The world can be a dark place w/ no glimmer of hope. When all hope is lost, a small ray of light can be seen in the distance. We play to portray that ray of light across the Black Canvas that is life.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
