About Me

Music Bio:
I went to school at Schenectady County Community College for music in 2001 which I learned how to play guitar, piano, sing and read music. I started writing electronic music in 1998 but I didn't start writing seriously until 2001 when I started attending classes. With my classical background, I started getting new ideas and approaches to writing electronic music so I started playing a little bit of electric guitar, acoustic guitar and keyboard in my music but the electronic aspects of my work are my main areas of concentration. I don't plan on performing live, I prefer to write my music as a studio musician, writing electronic dance music of every genre, movie scores and soundtracks.
DJing Bio:
I have been a long time listener of electronic dance music since my childhood in the 1980s. In the 1990s I have heard and seen so many DJs spinning, that at the end of the 90s, I decided I wanted to spin and contribute to the scene as well. Throughout the 90s, I started buying Techno and House records on a regular basis.
In 2001, I bought my turntables and got right down to it. I practiced everyday spinning records and experimenting with my mixing gear.
In 2002, I did an open turntable night in Albany, NY spinning Breaks for a crowd of 20 people. I did some other small gigs in 2003-2004 just to get my name around town and to give back to the scene.
In 2004, I moved out to Las Vegas to bring my own style to the west coast. I have been spinning rave parties on and off for the remainder of 2005, spinning Hard Trance, Hardstyle, Techno, Progressive House, Breaks and Acid.
In 2006, I decided to take a break from playing out for awhile. I directed my attention on doing mixes for the internet, participating in online mix competitions showcasing a different genre each time. The mix I did entitled "Crawling Around 6 Feet Under" is a Drum n Bass mix which won me a victory in the "Are You Afraid of the Dark" Halloween Mix Competition where I also included two of my own original remixes of The Halloween Theme (DG's Haunted Dungeon Remix) and Michael Jackson - Thriller (DG's Deadly Killah Mix) both set up with the Drum n Bass formula.
Currently, I have my monthly radio show on the Classic Electronica Channel on Digitally Imported Radio with my Building Block Series which I showcase the finest in underground Techno, Trance, House, Acid and Rave tracks from the late 80s and early 90s. My show is on the first Wednesday of every month at 2 PM US EST/11:00 AM US PST. Those shows are also in my blog on here or on my music page.
I just recently made a graphic design page if you want to see my drawings, paintings and computer graphics work. I'm also on Frapper so give those a peep.
I also did a bi-weekly show on Friday nights with Lil Rascals, MSG Coated, FA DJ and other special guests called The Absinthe Sessions which airs 12:00 AM US EST/9:00 PM US PST.
2008-2009 I still plan on doing my BBS shows but I have been taking a break from the dance music and sticking with my main love for Hip Hop, Funk, anything funky and have been since 1983. My future tracks will be more Hip Hop oriented since that is my number one love for the beats.*e-passer* of the Hookah Clan
