DJ Marquis

Marco Rugiati (in arte DJ MARQUIS) nasce il 1 agosto 1982 a Milano. Nel 1998 inizia la sua attività di DJ lavorando in alcuni dei locali più conosciuti a Milano tra i quali Cafè Atlantiqué, Punta dell’Est, De Sade, Nausicaa, ecc. Nel frattempo, DJ MARQUIS, non pienamente soddisfatto, mette nel cassetto un altro sogno, quello di diventare produttore. Diplomato in Fonica, nel 2002 inizia le prime produzioni che, nel 2004, con l’appoggio del cantante Harry James, Nicola Fasano e dello Stradivari studio di Udine, andranno in porto, prima con il singolo Compromise, uscito su M.O.D.A. Fashion Music, poi con I feel me firmato Hit Record, quest’ultimo remixato da Jan carey e Robbie Rivera. Entrato ormai nel mondo della discografia DJ MARQUIS continua le sue produzioni e collaborazioni con Andrea Mantovani, Valerio Gaffurini, Claudio Lancini, Luca Zeta…ecc. Nel 2007 collaborando con Giancarlo Facchini, in arte Dj Molla, nascono due nuovi importanti progetti: il primo Dance, denominato “Control C”, esordisce con tre singoli nel primo anno, raggiungendo brevemente i primi posti delle classifiche Dance d’Europa e riscuotendo ottime recensioni su tutti forum dedicati della rete. Nell’ottobre del 2008 parte un nuovo programma, chiamato “Dance Forever” su Radio Adamello condotto dal duo Rugiati – Facchini sotto il marchio Control C, proponendo musica italodance nuova e anni ’90. Il secondo progetto, “Night People”, con sonorità più elettro house, si avvia, con l’uscita nel maggio 2008, della cover di Frozen di Madonna, cantata da Manola. Il 2009 si apre alla grande con il nuovo singolo dei Control C ( Tell me ) su Logo Record e del primo prodotto house firmato Marquis intitolato “Thank God for the music” su M.O.D.A. fashion music. L’anno prosegue con la produzione di vari remix per nomi importanti del panorama dance come Luca Zeta, Sunny j, Reddj, Overland, ecc.. Attualmente in lavorazione nuovi singoli, sia come Control C che Marquis, attesi per l’autunno prossimo!

Marco Rugiati -aka DJ Marquis-born in Milan on 1st August 1982. In 1998 starts his career as DJ working by Milan’s best places, such as Cafè Atlantiqué, Punta dell’Est, De Sade, Nausicaa, etc. In the meanwhile,DJ MARQUIS,works as well to realize another dream and begins his activity as producer. After a graduation in phonic, in 2002 starts with his early productions, in 2004, together with singer Harry James, Nicola Fasano and the Stradivari studio in Udine, he realize with success,first the hit Compromise, realesed on M.O.D.A. Fashion Music, then with I feel me scored by Hit Record, and remixed by Jan carey and Robbie Rivera. Finally into the discographic world,DJ MARQUIS carries on with productions and collaborations with Andrea Mantovani, Valerio Gaffurini, Claudio Lancini, Luca Zeta…etc. In 2007 in collaboration with Giancarlo Facchini, aka Dj Molla,he gives born to two new projects: former Dance, called “Control C”, hits with three singles in the first year, reaching the top of European Dance Charts and having success in the dedicated forums on line . Together with Dj Molla,in october 2008,he creates a program called “Dance Forever”,that goes on air on Radio Adamello,broadcasting italo-dance music of the ninenties. The second project, “Night People”, with an elettro house style, starts on May 2008 with the remix of “frozen” by Madonna,performed by Manola. 2009 gets off the ground with Tell me by Control C,realesed by Logo Record and with the first house project by Dj Marquis entitled “Thank God for the music” on M.O.D.A. fashion music. The year is going on producing remixes with important collaboration in dance world like Luca Zeta, Sunny j, Reddj, Overland, etc.. At the moment DJ Marquis and Control C are working to new realased, due for next autumn!
