This type of stained glass is commonly seen in cathedrals, but being wonderfully colourful, it can conjure a delightful living space. It is suitable for doors, windows and all other flat surfaces. Stained-glass windows are mostly composed of many coloured glass fragments, which can also be painted.PAINTED GLASSPainting on glass requires a special technique of applying oxide paint on glass using special paintbrushes. The painting demands a great deal of skill for it is only by shading that the perfection of the image can be achieved. Painted glass is mostly used in stained glasswork, which means that individual segments are painted and then assembled with lead came profiles with the soldering technique. They can also be used as decorative windows or as paintings.TIFFANY STAINED GLASSThe Tiffany technique differs from the traditional stained glass in the use of a copper foil instead of the lead came profiles. Traditional lead-strip glasswork can thus be substituted by copper-foil glasswork not only on flat surfaces such as windows, doors, showcases, etc, but also for creation of three-dimensional works such as lamps, vases or bowls.FUSIONFusion is a technique of melting and fusing glass at high temperatures. Colour pigments (oxides) are added to transparent glass to attain the desired colour. The glass pane can be cut into various shapes or covered with several layers of glass (transparent or coloured) to add relief. Glass layers and dyes melt at high temperatures and create wonderful decorative glass that can be used for windows, doors, showcases, fences, etc.CURVED GLASSSimilar to fusion, curving is a process that requires high temperatures which must not exceed a certain limit. We must use the right temperature for the glass to start softening. At this temperature, the glass takes the form of the mould due to its own weight and gravity. Curved glass is used for showcases, partition walls, lights, etc.GLASS TILESFused glass can be used for various purposes since the application of this technique is limited only by our imagination. For those who are tired of the traditional ceramic tiles, glass tiles are the perfect solution. Each tile is unique for each one is individually hand made and coloured with oxide colours. They come in different sizes, shapes and colours. Glass tiles can be used to adorn your kitchen or bathroom and thus invigorate your living space. Fused glass jewellery is created using the principle of melting and fusing glass with the addition of colour pigments. To add a touch of elegance, flakes of gold or other precious metal can be molten into these products. Glass beads are made over torch flame with the addition of oxide to achieve purity of colour. Beads are made from the already coloured Murano glass, which is famous for its wide range of colours.GLASS SCULPTURESBelenus products are also used for creation of interesting sculptures. Our products are used by renowned artist Ivan Kisovec for decoration of various hotels, massage and wellness centres, casinos, etc. Through this cooperation, we have created glass columns, decorative glass tiles and canes. Glass columns are made of square and rectangular pieces of transparent and coloured glass in different dimensions, attached together at high temperatures. These columns are not finished products, but are used by the artist to create various sculptures, such as pyramids, waterfalls, columns, lights and many more, while glass tiles and canes are used for creation of fascinating wall decorations.
