Established in March 2007, The Angelic Banana Comedy Club has quickly become a firm favourite with comedy audiences and performers alike.Initially the 'Banana served up a fruit basket of standup, established acts and newcomers, along with a smattering of improv. Then, on the 27th May 2007, the 'Banana hosted the inaugral Angelic Banana Comedy Smackdown, a knockout tournament where 16 comedians go head to head to win the Championship belt and the title of Top Banana.
