*KLON* started out as a 'kitchen production unit' in Heidelberg about 5 years ago. The initial idea having been there for years, I had always been too respectful of the art of screenprinting to imagine having a go. Then a friend gave me this photocopy of a 1980s DIY-creenprinting book and suddenly: there I was having a go. When I didn't stop having a go I began involving other local and regional artists, and this is where it lead: a textile art screenprinting project.
