"Nothing is Impossibleâ€, is the motto of 23 year-old vanguard producer Antwoine "T-wiz" Collins.
The Austin, Texas native has been producing since age 16, when he was given MTV Music Generator, a game that allowed users to create their own music on Sony's Playstation console. Recognizing his own talent, he began hosting parties and selling CD's featuring his own music to invest in industry-standard equipment. Soon after, T-wiz was generating national interest as a producer from major record labels like Universal, Jive and Sony.
“In my mind, beats have their own environment, their own unique sounds and tones," he says. “So I always use different sounds and effects to set each of my tracks apart from anyone else's to give them there own personality".
With his own distinct sound, T-wiz has definitely done just that.
In fact, at age 23, his resume reads like a seasoned veteran. He has worked with artist like Tyrese ("One"), American Idol's Mario Vasquez ("How we do it") and Jennifer Hudson (If This Isn’t Love") and Grammy award winning artists Ciara ("My love"), Chris Brown (“Heart Ain’t A brainâ€), Prima J (“Inside Outâ€) and many others.
T-wiz is not only a talented producer but a musician, and sound engineer as well. Being a self taught pianist, only playing for four years, his inspiration from Yanni, Bruce Hornsby, Rascal Flatts, Kenny G and Brian McKnight has helped him in being a natural on the keys with the ability to play classically but with his own style infused in his sound.
“I am a perfectionist, so naturally, I want the best out of everything I do," he says. “I want to be the complete producer. Great drums, great mixes, great melodies and smooth, clean vocals... I want people to know that they can get that all from me."
T-wiz is well on his way to being established as one of the music industry's hottest young hit-makers and before it's its all said and done; his determination and desire will see him reach the stars.
