~ GRIFFIN, a Norwegian Metal band, was formed in late '98.
~ After 2 demos were recorded in ..99, they received the French Label Season Of Mists attention.
~ They released the first 2 full length albums: "WASTELAND SERENADES" (2000) & "THE SIDESHOW" (2002).
~ In 2003, GRIFFIN inked a deal with the Norwegian label FaceFront, who released their 3rd album entitled "NO HOLDS BARRED" in September of the same year. This album was CO-PRODUCED by ALEXI LAIHO (from CHILDREN OF BODOM & SINERGY). He also contributed with some guitar and back-up vocals.
~ For the 4th album, GRIFFIN signed a worldwide deal with Spiritual Beast (excluding Norway which is still FaceFront..s area). This album, entitled "LIFEFORCE", was PRODUCED by legendary KING DIAMOND guitarplayer, ANDY LAROCQUE. ("LIFEFORCE" has a European distribution through Massacre Records).

~ In September of 2006, recording sessions for the 5th album entitled "The Ultimate Demise" were held. ANDY LAROCQUE once again PRODUCED the album for GRIFFIN. This album is darker, harder, and faster than previous releases.

* * * * TOURING * * * *
~ In 2000, GRIFFIN toured Europe supporting Norwegian Black Metal act MAYHEM.
~ In the autumn of 2002, GRIFFIN hit the road again with the Finnish Metal act SINERGY and Swedish Death Metal legends DARK TRANQUILITY.
~ After the release of "NO HOLDS BARRED" (September 2003), they did a Scandinavian tour with EINHERJER, LUMSK and SCARIOT.
~ In addition to touring, they've also done several single gigs and festivals.
~ They scored a spot at Wacken Open Air 2004 and supported W.A.S.P!
~ In 2006, GRIFFIN toured alongside THUNDERBOLT and legend, KING DIAMOND.

The Manager, GRIFFIN and myself want to know everything you have done to promote them. So check-ins are expected and seriously encouraged!

GRIFFIN and their manager have total access to this account, and I answer to them! So lets make them PROUD!

GRIFFIN is calling for G~Teamers (e-team members). We're looking for people who love GRIFFIN and can focus that energy online.

The GRIFFIN contest was that the first 3 people who sent me a pic of themselves with a copy of the new GRIFFIN cd in hand would receive a package from the band containing buttons, sweatbands...
