About Me

J.Melz took awhile to come into his own. In high school, ya boy was short, I'm talking 5 foot tall short. Not to mention he weighed 100 pounds dripping wet. Did I mention he played basketball? Anyways, fellas on the team called him Skee-Lo based off of the 1-hit rapper's title track "I Wish". Well over the years J. grew, so the name didn't fit anymore, he needed something new. Thus, he took his initials and combined it with his former nickname to become JAM-Lo. JAM-Lo learned the ropes of the rap game, performing in talent shows and putting out a mixtape with his boys J-Dock and Nasty. If you haven't heard it "Ask ya mom about me." She has. Anyways, on a freak occurence a friend of JAM's was listening to him perform in a battle, his friend swore the opposing rapper was calling him J Mello, so J, the boy that he is ran with it. J Mello was the last step into becoming J.Melz. Mr. Melz is everything J Mello wanted to be, but just couldn't reach that level. Show love for ya boy, cause J Dot So Hot aka Mr. Melz aka Mr. 513 aka Mr. I do the damn thing, by not doing a damn thing aka J.Melz is just now getting started. Stay tuned and keep coming back. One.
