Who are we? We are the product of the two most dominant languages in America; we are the offspring of English and Spanish; we are the speakers of the hybrid spanglish. Spanglish, however, is not a new thing. In our evolving world, Spanglish has been around ever since Spanish and English hit the soil of north America. Thus it is our heritage, our identity, and our voice.
