Tom Wszalek & Wayne Krauss first started playing music together almost 30 years ago. A mutual interest in pop music brought them together early in life - initially fueled by the original British Invasion, and later the era of the 70's singer-songwriter and "California sound", blending rock and country roots.
After obtaining some up-to-date recording equipment - i.e. crossing the digital divide - and playing some open mike gigs at Kulak's Woodshed, a non-for-profit music club in L.A., Tom & Wayne started recording their music. In 2002 they put together their first EP, 4 By 2. That was followed by The Way That We Feel, another EP, and then a full CD collection of tunes entitled v3.0. All of the work features Wayne and Tom on various instruments and vocal parts, fully exploiting the wonders of multi-tracking in a digital world.
Working diligently in between other careers and commitments, trading off at each other's houses (with Tom's son Ben acting as designer and webmaster), Tom & Wayne, now TWK (Tom Wszalek Wayne Krauss) continue to write and record their songs. Currently, they are almost finished with their fourth effort (named "Four Now") with about 15 tunes in the can (or to be more accurate, the server).
Though Tom and Wayne have no current plans for their next live performance, they certainly plan to perform live again in the future in the L.A. area. Check the homepage for updates.
