About lil' ole me?? O my where to begin? Let's see...I am a gay/non-stereotypical male whose personal heroes are not Cher and Madonna, although the latter is way cool, who currently is hanging his hat in Arkansas in what can be construed as a cultural vacuum that has been lost in time, the 80's to be more precise. Don't get me wrong, have many very cool, hip, and well rounded friends, it's just that a little over half the populace(65-70% perhaps?)appears to be reddened round the neck and closed of mind. Was born and raised here and got out as soon as possible. Lived in Long Beach So.Cal. for about 6 years and upon my departure, moved to Alabama. Was that fun you ask? Actually it was! Much more culture in 'Bama than one would expect. Currently my life has changed courses and brought me back to my roots. My job at present is something I absolutely love at times and merely endure at others...as things usually go, one does what one has to do. Just feeling the lack of a good challenge of late, which is gonna change some way some day when my o so lethargic ass gets off the couch and goes back to school. Love to observe and watch the random characters and events drift in and out of my life. It is more entertaining than television. It is my personal "belief" that most homosapiens, ooops! I said "homo" go through much moral conditioning, shaping, molding, and bone crushing pressure to be what family, school teachers, church, society, mass media:ad-nauseum expect them to be. Just because one is brought up in a "belief system" about themselves or others doesn't make it a fact. Everything is subjective opinion and their are myriads of perspectives. So who's right and who's wrong.....who gives a shit? Live and let live....life is much too short to waste it on hate and prejudice. Show me a passionate fanatic and listen as yours truly paints a portrait of someone who is afraid and ignorant of what they do not understand or accept b/c it doesn't fit into the "mold" of how mom and pop or Pastor Bob taught them. My advice....break free!!!! Think for yourselves...soak up all the knowledge possible and form your own opinion of who and what life is about and who you are on the inside!! That's when inner peace is truly found, when one falls in love with themselves, not someone else. Fall in love with who you are and forget about what or who people perceive you to be and be content. That's when everything falls into place and life mates are found. When co-dependency and people pleasing behaviors stop and inner peace is obtained. Then life is sweet. Whoa, where did that come from??? Well, any rate, that's about as deep as it's gonna get...some of you may think you need to get your boots out! In conclusion,hit me up sometime as I am open minded and free and absolutely love meeting new peeps!!
