Myspace Comments Welcome to my myspace page!! My name is Michelle Rose Welch. I'm a mother first of all, but I'm also a published author. I have been writing since I was 12 years old. I write poetry,lyrics,short stories and hardship stories. I started a writers group at the local library and we meet once a month. I usually line up a guest speaker to come and speak with us at the meetings. When we don't have a guest speaker, we are sharing our writing's with one another. I also recently started a new myspace page called, Fighting for literacy now or (F.F.L.N.). I really want to help promote literacy in this country as well as others if possible. I have a lot of goals in my life that I hope I can reach before I die. I would like to see a huge turn around in our school system. We need to quit cutting budgets and laying off teachers. The kids are our future and we need to teach them well. Let's start by helping promote literacy and not being so greedy with our government money. I didn't use to care about politics and such until I became a mother. Now I really want to help this country by making a stand. I'm only one person though and I'm kind of shy. I also have fibromyalgia which keeps me down and in pain a lot. I usually keep a good, upbeat attitude since I have a young daughter to raise.
