LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO WAKE UP WITH REGRETS.SO LOVE THE PEOPLE WHO TREAT YOU RIGHT.LOVE THE ONES WHO D

About Me

WOW in life makes everyday worth it even with the frustration, pain and challenges that accompanies it because the joy and passon of it is worth it. I have been very fortunate to enjoy a life of travel; my passion for this is sometimes shared, an experiences which makes travel even more enjoyable. ************************************************************ *************************** ************************************************************ ***************** I really do love to travel and having the fortunate job that allows me to explore the many cultures of the world. I was born in a great City - San Francisco (did the web background give it away? Just wish it was the Golden Gate, but the Bay Bridge coming into the City at night provides a spectacular view of downtown SF)I have lived a significant part of my life in California, born in SF and lived there until we moved to Sonoma when in high school.I have also lived in Southern California where I graduated from Loyola Marymount University, and moved to South Orange County in Coto de Caza for 15 years (yes this is the same place from the Bravo show "the real housewives of OC"). I have spent lots of time in Europe, on the beaches of So Ca and the wineries of Northern CA. I love great wine food and friends to share this with. I have spent a lot of time in other wine countries of the world and find some French whites often superior in taste to my wonderful white wines of California, still partial to my deep bodied red of the Napa and Sonoma Valley though. I moved to Dallas a few years ago. My philosophy, I figure either you love to laugh or you’re in need some humor therapy, therefore I am always supporting a smile. ************************************************************ **************************** Growing up in a famous and great ethnic and european type city of San Francisco, my attitude and great outlook on life and the ability to adapt to cultures was formed here. I have shared my City by the Bay with someone I loved and dear friends. Great cities usually have great culture, history, attitude and people which I find interesting. To that, I find Dallas to be a very interesting city too. I have to chuckle at the dichotomy of this city, a strong religious ferver, and more strip clubs than most cities, you have to love the irony of it all. .... My Interests

WOW, Friends, Wine, food, travel in that order

I'd like to meet:

Genuine people, who understand the value of friendship and love, who can appreciate what life and this world provides in this very short time we get to be here.

Music:

I can listen to anything and it really depends on the setting. Not a big fan of rap or techno though, Germany will really kill you with Techno. My W turned me on to an oldies station here that I have loved to listen too in traffic. 88.5FM

Movies:

Too many but a preference for comedies and real thrillers (not the scary type, more the Robert Ludlum mystery type) ************************************************* Some of my travels in 2007..

Television:

Love Comedy, headline new to stay on top of things as I travel and relaxing shows

Books:

those ones with big pictures, few words ....do coloring books count -lol

Heroes:

My Parents - a dad that worked hard all his life and gave me the opportunity to succeed and a mom who was always there and understood me. While they have both passed, I miss them both everyday. When I am down, I just think of my mom who brought compassion and wisdom. I only wish both I and the people I love could have spent more time with them. But they have given me their spirit, passion and humor. *************

A few Irish words...before St. Paddy’s day

Morning is the time to pity the sober. The way they're feeling then is the best they're going to feel all day. Oh, he occasionally takes an alcoholiday.--Wilde Thirst is a shameless disease so here...
