She first recorded 5 demo songs in 2003 at Haggarty Studio's, and won 2nd place for "Alone" in Mix 99.9 FM's 2003 National Singer Songwriter competition, which included thousands of entries from all across Canada.
Fast forward to 2007-- For 3 months was able to lay down the foundations to a new album including the song's: "Shadow", "Katherine", "Too Bad", and "Between Your Fingers."
