I'm an urban guy who travels globally a fair bit for work and personally. I've been very fortunate to have visited every continent on this lovely planet. and my favourite cities are: Cairo, Hong Kong, London, New York, Paris, Prague, Salzburg, Toronto, and Zurich. And the area where I feel I could stay forever is the South of France, between Marseille to St.Tropez to Monaco. Especially a little town called St. Raphael. The Sahara Desert is also another place except for when the storms arrive so suddenly. But the Oasis are really something to experience.The other area would be Naxos, Greece. I recommend smaller high speed ferry travel by day under good weather conditions. There's nothing quite like seeing the amazing Greek islands you've read about. Back in secondary school I learned to speak French and also took Latin. As an adult, I taught myself to speak Spanish and Italian & still continue with French, which I use for work as well. I'm not fluent in all, but can more than hold a conversation.I'm a closet guitar player of rock, blues, folk, jazz/flamenco, and now pickin some country/bluegrass. I started when I was 10 and wanted to play in a band forever until I had a reality check at 18 after producing a live concert with a famous Canadian band called Triumph. What an eye opener...So I pursued a career in Film & TV.In 1999 I made a career change and departed the film & television world as a Producer to become a Sr. Creative Producer in Corporate Communications/Advertising, as the internet world was something I found so exciting and full of new challenges. I was able to transfer my skill set to DVD/CD-ROM projects and eventually on to the web and much more. Now the multi-media world has so many formats, technologies, etc, that I leap frog from one to another several times within a day.
