First, I would like to welcome my current and future friends to Myspace page. Second, I would like to start off by introducing myself to you, my name is Anthony Walters and I was born on February 03, 1988 in Kingston, Jamaica. At the age of two, I moved to the United States to live with my father's family. He was never really there for me while I was growing up. My grandmother was one of many people that helped raise me while my mother still resided in Jamaica. My life is drama, a soap opera or as some may say a sitcom. I live my life the way I want to, and I welcome positive feedback. However, I will not let anyone with a negative attitude influence my life. I make it a priority to try to stay positive and focused always. Behind every successful person, there is always someone who doesn't want him or her to succeed. I have come across so many people in my life that did not want to see me achieve. As a result, I also said to myself I would never have anyone hold me back and keep me from doing what I love. Therefore, I also learn that life is not about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself. Exceed the fact of what I just told you, my instinct would always make me grow and learn more about myself. In the past, I was a different person. A person who needed approval and a person lost in his own low self-esteem. Now, I have grown and learned to be myself. I can love, I can see, I can walk, I love my family and friends and yet these are just everyday things. I love entertaining my friends and family, I also like creating a new environment for them. I am the one who always has to have that "IT" job and qualifications. Although I have an extraordinary laugh, I have a wonderful personality and I am very considerate. I also like helping people. I feel like people do not know that life is a gift that they should unwrap, before it unwraps them. I strongly believe in positive motivation. In addition, I would like the youth from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to see positive images of themselves on television. Newspapers and magazines have reinforced negative stereotypes that has impacted and increased low self-esteem. If the next generation is able to see all the possibilities that lie before them; then, I will feel that I have fulfilled my purpose in this world.
