ARM is the anti-religious movement. This may sound like we are against religious people, or a religion in particular, but we are not. ARM believes that religion is a dividing force that prevents unity and peace.------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------- As members of ARM, we encourage people to try to develop a new world view that sees everyone as children of nature rather than children of any particular god. In this way, we hope to encourage people to all work together in solving each other's problems rather than trying to solve one groups problems while creating problems for another group.------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------- We are opposed to Islamic extremism, however, we are also opposed to certain American sentiments that value Christianity above Islam, and feel that these sentiments are influencing the way a large portion of the American military is acting in Iraq.------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------- A world without religion, where reason is valued above superstition, where people act based on understanding rather than bigotry: this is ARM's vision.----------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------
