I'm a loyal fan of Nintendo (here's hoping I get a wii) and also other random videogames. I really enjoy doing artsy type things and writing occasionally. I also read a fair bit. Umm... food's cool too.
...Jack Skellington. He'd make a pretty interesting friend methinks.
I like really random stuff and so it's just easier if I just list... My Current Favourite Songs: "Bittersweet Symphony" The Verve, "Tonight Tonight" Smashing Pumpkins, "Rebellion (Lies)" The Arcade Fire, "Apparitions" Matthew Good Band, "The Grace" Neverending White Lights, "Lonely Day" Phantom Planet, "Everlong" Foo Fighters Music Video: PHANTOM LIMB (by The Shins)

The Nightmare Before Christmas is the most amazing movie ever! Tim Burton and Danny Elfman make such good movies. Everything, the characters, the music, the atmosphere, it all works. I pretty well also like everything else done by Tim Burton (Edward Scissor Hands, Big Fish, Beetlejuice, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). I also love the movies produced by "Studio Ghibli" like Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, The Cat Returns, to name some. Some other movies I like include: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Harry Potter movies, Lord of the Rings movies, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mirrormask, Resident Evil, Donny Darko, The Girl Next Door, Saved, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Mean Girls, Superman, X-Men (except for the 3rd movie), etc..
The only show I am following right now is "Heroes". I don't usually religiously watch any show in particular - I hate being a slave to their scheduals! It doesn't mean I don't watch tv, it just means that when I do, I channel surf.
I mostly read fantasy novels. They're entertaining.
Neil Gaiman is probably my favourite author right now. I love that some of his novels are becoming movies. Mirrormask is already out, but I know that Stardust and Coraline are still to come for the big screen.
I have all the Harry Potter and Series of Unfortunate Events books to date.

Well, I'm not too big on the hero thing... I can't think of any comic book heros or "real-life" heros that I really care for. Ohh, I know, the best hero is the one that me and Heather created: "Movern't of Moften Rock", because he's so incompetent but he tries.
