The third installment of this popular series features 10 talented ladies who are competing for the sixth and final spot in the Coyote Ugly traveling troupe, a group that tours the country singing and dancing on bar tops and impressing crowds -- as well as a $50,000 prize.New for this season, the selected contestants will meet in Denver where they will live together and compete against one another through eight episodes of physical and mental challenges. At the end of each episode, Lil sends one hopeful Coyote home. In the end, the three finalists will compete against each other for the chance to be crowned the Ultimate Coyote.In another new twist for this season, the contestants not only have to impress Lil and the veterans but also two new cast members: physical trainer Keith Bailey and vocal coach Mauli Bonner. The ladies will endure grueling workouts from Bailey, a full-time physical trainer with a military background, and intense vocal training from Bonner, a Grammy award-winning vocal coach from Los Angeles.Coyote Ugly first opened its doors in 1993 to a tough New York crowd under the guidance of owner Liliana "Lil" Lovell. A former Wall Street apprentice, Lovell knew the combination of booze and beautiful women equaled money in the cash register. In 2000, Coyote Ugly received national attention following the box office hit of the same name.
With only three contestants remaining and everything on the line, the competition truly heats up. Lil sends the women out on the 'super seller' challenge to see who really can hustle and earn a dollar. The three perform together at the bar, and Lil surprisingly eliminates someone on the spot. The final two contestants each perform with the traveling coyote squad, and Lil crowns the Ultimate Coyote 3..The 10 wannabee coyotes meet for the first time, are introduced to their home and meet Lil. Soon thereafter, she takes them to the bar where they see the traveling coyotes perform and realize what it will take to win the coveted sixth spot in that group. Lil sets up the first challenge, and the women find out what they are competing for. The pressure is too much for one girl, as she just can't put it all together, and ends up being eliminated.With nine women left, the competition is on. The girls have an intense workout with trainer Keith, and it's on to the next challenge. The girls are split into three teams of three for the Build the Bar challenge, and the winning team gets by with a bit of luck. In a tense elimination, one girl volunteers to leave, but can Lil talk her out of it?Eight girls remain, and Lil chooses three of them to sing on the bar in front of customers. But it is the behavior of one of the other girls that upsets Lil. Another girl is sent home but only after another twist of events.The remaining seven women continue to sing, dance and perform, but the physical intensity of the competition is too much for one girl. They compete in the Don't Stop Dancing challenge, and Lil eliminates what seems to be the only remaining weak link of the group.The remaining six women return from a three week holiday break, completely refreshed, slimmed down and all with an intense desire to win. Three of them get a makeover after winning the 'Perfect Pour' challenge, while the other three sulk. A surprising number one badge is handed out at elimination, and another contestant's dream of becoming a travelling coyote is ended.
Just five top contenders remain. We see the women sing and dance as individuals for the first time, and seemingly the weakest singer has a surprise for Lil. Another contestant is eliminated and is devastated.
The final four women are challenged to direct their own photo shoot, with the winner receiving an amazing makeover which will shock everyone. Meanwhile, the other three contestants are put through their toughest workout to date. Lil takes the women on a road trip and surprises them with an unimaginable gift.
