About Me

FarGon - Informal Interview Outside The Ordnance, Enfield Town
"Having seen FarGon live, we noticed early on the post-grunge Eddie Vedder influence of Joey Stone’s voice – deep, melodic and well worth listening to. FarGon are a tight little band who managed to get the entire audience jumping to their music, and the band have an impressive way of engaging them through impressive stage performance – even going as far as taking them on a musical journey, displaying in particular the pure meaningfulness of the lyrics and the high velocity guitar work that makes FarGon ‘unique’."
Alternative Music Promotions (A.M.P.)

"With a voice that echoes Chris Cornell, singer Joey Stone has that classic weathered tone which is essential to cut through these guitar heavy grunge tracks. Fargon most impressed me with the track ‘On the Ride’, a number that loses none of the bands power due to an in your face vocal with the guitar lending the track a slight bluesy feel. This is what sets Fargon apart from other bands trying to pedal the raw rock formula- they’ve managed to keep a ballsy, raw sound whilst still showcasing their musical repertoire. Yes it’s loud and in your face - but these guys know their music and it shows. The band are truly refreshing in a market over-saturated with identical guitar bands wanting to be ‘the next Libertines’."

After their sell-out headline performance at Storm in Leicester Square, where the band pulled in over 60 people on their opening night, FarGon are continuing to tour London venues and bring their own fusion of heavy rock, grunge, indie and rap back to England's capital.
The band includes Joey Stone (ex-Switch and Reason vocalist), Deano Collins (ex-Switch drummer), Mark Young (ex-Reason guitarist), Jim Kirkpatrick and Luke Frendo, and will be gigging in a venue near you very soon !
Our mission is to prove that originality in music is not dead.

Despite an adrenaline-fuelled performance at Battle Of The Bands, FarGon finished second and failed to qualify for the semi-finals. We were obviously disappointed, but our set was the best we have ever performed, and that to us is a major positive, and a reminder that each gig makes us stronger and tighter as a band. The main plus point of our night was to see ALL OF YOU who showed up on Saturday, despite the Victoria Line being down. We brought over 40 people, which was the highest amount of fans, and every one of us would like to extend our thanks to those that made the effort to come. Just knowing we have fans as dedicated as you gives us the confidence to do what we do.
