Hello to you all music enthusiasts :)) okTem was born in 1975 though, to be wild I guess... heh.. All times interest in music had stepped up a level by taking classical guitar lessons through 1989 - 1991. After two promissing years the strive for rock’n roll had taken its place and Phobia the cover band had been formed in Izmir, 1991. Playing the bass guitar was a new but very fun thing at the time with Phobia. After a year the lead guitar player and vocal singer had left the band and both was replaced by Michael Hartman. The new band’s name was EZ Money. With the new cover list a year of success ended up with 7 concerts and a Mavi Sakal concert sub band performance at ACI. EZ Money was the only band okTem had played the electric guitar as well as the bass guitar. In 1993 okTem had moved to Ankara for the college. There Ice Eyes, the progressive rock band was looking for a bass guitar player. okTem had worked with Ice Eyes for a year. Before taking ways apart, the band had performed live in the METU festival in 1994. The time with Ice Eyes was a great experience thanx to you all guys: Ugur Dundar a great song writer, Mustafa Erim a hell of a drummer and a wonderful lyrics writer, Comok (Gokhan) a speedy guitar player a good friend and God knows the father of how many kids now .. hahaha.. After a big break (12 years frankly) due to academic and career reasons, okTem started off back again as a gig player with Paradoks, playing popular rock & indie covers. For the time okTem plays some good rock’n roll with Tripod every weekend.
