About Me

Working in Higher Education still and enjoying it! Have just passed my MA in Literature, so now thinking of doing a PhD (I must be bonkers). Am fronting Triaxis, a Hard Rock/Metal band in South Wales and loving every minute of it! Check out our band page http://www.myspace.com/triaxisuk, oh ....and the track you're listening to? That's us, that is!Biggest moment in the singing career so far, winning Michael Barrymore's My Kind of Music and having over 10 million people see it on national Television - YAY!Have a passion for all things FORD epecially if we are talkin 1967 GT40 or the 1969 Shelby Cobra Mustang GT350. I am a big fan of cars - something about the sound of an engine.I have a love of all things 40s and 50s, movies, cars, stars etc and enjoy sci-fi literature and tv as well as fantasy fiction and live action roleplay!Basically I'm a mixed bag - but apparently I'm adorable according to my hubby and friends *personally I think they are all bonkers but hey* ;-) The CricketSoda Myspace Editor What Classic Pin-Up Are You?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Carl Gustav Jung, Sigmund Freud, Jacques Lacan, Julia Kristeva, Joseph Campbell, Plato, Aristotle, Pythogoras, Archimedes, Uncle Homer and Uncle Hesiod (also Nick the Mythman for his very funny retelling of the myths), James Joyce, Tolkien, Vonnegut, Pynchon. Sebastian Bach, Trent Dresner, Chris Cornell (purrr). Albert Einstein, Galileo, Copernicus, Steven Hawking, Issac Asimov, the list is endless. I've already met Izzog Man, comparing heels was a hoot, but wouldn't say no to meeting him again! And had the ramdom chance of meeting Joe Satriani, what a thoroughly nice chap!
