MyGen Profile GeneratorWith close to 20 years drumming experience, Mark continues his musical journey to discover and understand the possibilities of his instrument.Drawing from a well of musical tastes, Mark accepts the challenge of creating a musical,visual,emotional yet memorable experience for himself & his audiences.He strives to refine his art and adapt his talent to arrive at something that makes him unique but accessible to people at all levels. Mark says,“With a passion for making great music,my aim is to play in many musical situations with as many musical people as possible so I can exceed my musical boundaries”.
Mark’s drumming journey so far has been an exciting one,as a former student in jazz studies, Mark has played in a variety of musical situations including theatre productions such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Josephs amazing technicolor dream coat. He has playing appearances on television shows like Good Morning Australia,Sunrise and Starstruck along with extensive tours in countries such as Asia,the UK, USA and the Middle East.
Marks musical work has lead him to back and support artists from Guy Sebastian,Irwin Thomas,John Lord(Deep purple),Tina Arena,Renee Geyer,John St. Peters,Darlene Czech and Normie Rowe to name a few.He has also played in many tribute shows ranging from Led Zeppelin,Burt Bacharach,Deep Purple,Pink Floyd,The yellow Jackets,Toto/Steeley Dan,Joe Satriani and Stevie Wonder.He has also been involved in many recording situations both studio and live and with some of his career highlights that include playing with symphony Orchestras, drumming in Guy Sebastian’s 2007 MTV Best Pop Video “Elevator Love” and recently played in the film "Broken Hill",directored by Academy award winner Timothy Hutton.Currently Mark continues to work hard in an effort to grow,as does his thirst to be the best he can and succeed in his musical practice.
