Adorexia is a state of mind, not a disease. It stems from the ancient Greek Cynic school of philosophy. It means merely to yield to nature and the course of things rather than to oppose them. Psychopathic personalities often do not fear death, or anything else. They have been known to enter the death chamber with the feeling that they have "won", even if they are about to die. There is no way that adorexia can be medically induced other than through a drug dosage which turns somebody into a virtual zombie.
