On March 28, 1979, Joshua Jo’el Sendejas, a small black haired brown eyed Latino male Aries was born in a small town of Santa Rosa, known today as the Wine Country of Northern California. Raised out of Santa Rosa California, Josh started off at the age of six, beating pots and pans with wooden spoons. He was introduced to Chris Hampton who had a drum set. It was a all black seven piece Tama kit with an wide assortment of cool shiny cymbals. In 1986 Josh begun his drum training with Chris Hampton as his teacher. At the age of ten Josh joined the school band and after three years he had progressed beyond the rest of the band. His influences range from Metallica to Ice Cube. In high school Josh had struggled in English and History. Math and Science came easy. He had made it to Geometry and the rest was all electives. He bounced from school to school until he took the GED shortly after the eleventh grade. Josh always made time for drum practices and the search for other fellow musicians. After years of playing in small bands and practicing to the radio he was eager to find a hard driving rock band that would quench his longing of music.Joshua Sendejas has over twenty years of experience playing the drums and over seven years of teaching the drums and percussion. Josh plays a five piece Pearl Export drum set with Sabian and Zyldjan cymbals. Remo Pinstriped heads and Vic Firth sticks are preferred for a heavy rock sound. In July of 2004, Josh was introduced to a few guys that were trying to get a serious band together. Out of four guys, three of them had formed what is now a band named Krawl. Josh Sendejas, Ben Schallert, and Ronnie Hart have been Krawl for the past five years.
Krawl is Sponsored by Furman Power and has been signed with CMC/ Blue Comet Records, then with Gunite records. In early fall of 2008,Krawl has opened up and rocked out with some famous national acts like 36 Crazy Fists, Non Point, Egypt Central, Ratt, and many other incredible underground bands. Since then, they have gotten air play on the local radio station and had the most requests for four months straight. Life is like a rollercoaster, you’re always traveling up and down whether it is a slight up hill, or a severe down hill cork screw! You just have to hang on for the ride and learn from it all.Me
Welcome to my first music video, "Me." This is my first time directing editing and producing a full production music video. Editing took the longest time.trying to get the right scene at the right time. Getting the video and the audio to match up at the right time was very time consuming as well. I needed a few different angle shots to keep the raw live energy of the crowd and performers on video. We wanted this video to be very blunt, honest, and intense about todays society, how we live as a unity, and still keeping you interested in the music and you attention on the video. This video is about how one person can effect another person, and on a larger scale, effect the whole world.Who is your favorite person? "Me?"........
