I am Janine Diaz, a singer originally from Tampa, Florida. I live in Philadelphia and am a graduate of the University of The Arts with a Bachelor's degree in jazz vocal performance and a Master's degree in music education. I've studied classical and jazz voice under Paul Spencer Adkins, Anne Sciolla, and Justin Binek. My work experience includes singing in wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, jazz trios and quartets, recording sessions, teaching private voice lessons, community theater, salsa/latin jazz groups, and rock cover bands. I've also sang in a number of choirs including Peter Nero's Pops Festival Chorus.I currently give private voice lessons, and teach at The Music Place in Westmont, NJ. I have also previously taught voice lessons with AMLA (Asociacion de Musicos Latino-Americanos), and the Conservatory of Musical Arts in Haddonfield, NJ. I sing in a jazz trio every other Sunday at Estia - Greek restaurant in center city, and I am also the lead singer of the latin Jazz group Ellas Y Amigos created by Donna Bostock and Lynn Riley.If anyone is interested in hiring me for an event, feel free to contact me at
