Mone`, a seasoned performer and International recording artist has been rocking the house for more than 10 years! Mone` began singing in her church at the age of 5. “I can still remember begging my pastor to let me sing a solo every time I walked through the church doors.” Mone` says. “There were several times the minister of music would take the microphone away from me because I sang so loud that it would nearly blow the speakers.” Truly blessed with a God given talent, she began professionally singing in the 90's.
Mone` began her career with the release of Northbound featuring Mone`, "A Better Way" on Bassline Records in 1994, produced by Brian Tappert and Roy Grant of Jazz-N-Groove Productions (Soulfuric). Soon after, the industry learned that her voice was a force to be reckoned with. Mone` quickly began to take the dance music industry by storm. After 3 more tracks released on independent labels, Mone` recorded “We Can Make It” and it was released on Strictly Rhythm/AM:PM Records. “We Can Make It” quickly climbed the Billboard charts to number 1. Soon after, she released her follow up single "Movin", which climbed the Billboard charts to number 2.
Keeping "the vibe alive,” Mone` worked with Eric Morillo on the "B Crew" track "Partay Feeling" featuring Barbara Tucker, Ultra Nate & Dajae. She recently released the single, Eastern Street featuring Mone`, “Lift Me Up”, produced by Eric (E-Smoove) Miller. Never tiring, Mone` and her longtime friend and producer Giovanni Scaccia released 2 back to back singles, "Blessed" and "Voices of Freedom" featuring Nicole McCloud and Angel Williams. Both were featured in numerous compilations including. “Glitter Grooves Dance Party” and "The White Party".
Currently, Mone` just inked a 2 single deal with EMG/Universal Records. She will be releasing both singles simultaneously. The first release will be "Flyin' with the Angels", a tribute song to the late Anna Nicole Smith, performed by Mone` and Big Moe (Anna Nicole’s former bodyguard and longtime friend.) The second release will be “Viva La Diva”, the song Anna Nicole was to record before her untimely death. Mone` agreed to record the vocals to this empowering song in her honor. Both songs will be released in early September of 2007.

After signing the 2 single deal with EMG/Universal Records, it was not long before executives were pushing for a Mone` album, which she is currently working on. Always growing as an artist, Mone` is now acting as featured singer, writer and co-producer. Mone` is back in the studio with full force, coupled with the amazing production talent of Giovanni Scaccia to create an album which will feature new music and re-inventions of her smash singles!
