i love music. i play music. coincidence? probably. tons of people say that they love music, that "music is their life", or other stuff like that. but don't really mean it. they listen to music constantly. you probably know the type; maybe your even one of them. they listen to their ipods constantly, talk about how they love this and that music, and yaddayadda. but they don't really mean it. they just stop paying attention to the music they're listening to, and if it's not particularly annoying, they "like" it.
i'm different. i swear. and so do all those annoying pricks who "listen" to "music" all the time. everybody claims to be something different, but the majority of people are just molds to what other people like, which creates a vicious cycle of popularity, and nobody ends up tapping into their brain to find what they truly find beatiful, or fun, or whatever people like in music. hell if i know. i don't even know what i love in music, i just do. but not enough people pay enough attention to music to discover what's truly amazing about it. "i'm really, honestly different from everybody else!" sure you are. and so is everybody else.
but me, i'm REALLY different. honestly.
"I want to be non-compliant.... just like everybody else." -a sarcastic comment by Jake R. he went on to say "everybody tries so hard to be different from everybody else. so the only way to be HONESTLY DIFFERENT is to NOT GIVE A FUCK." amen to that.
I bet you're sitting there thinking, "oh, well..."... you know what? i don't give a shit. think what you want. i. don't. care.
