Jangaship started out as an instrumental trio formed in winter of 2006, consisting of guitarist Brian Kohlhoff, bassist Ryan Majoris, and drummer Victor Olavarria. The three met and began jamming in the basement of their college dorm, and shortly after started writing and arranging original material. To complete the line up, the band began searching for a vocalist. After a few unsuccessful auditions, they met David Hellberg, who instantly fit the band's sound. They immediately began work on their debut EP, which will be out soon!
